Thaddeus Lake (pictured above) loved music and lived music. He wanted others to experience that same joy and fulfillment from music that he had. Thad was driven to start a Foundation that would help children and youth to have opportunities to experience music regardless of financial constraints. This desire was communicated to his mom 3 short weeks before his passing.

Thaddeus and two of his friends were taken from this earth by the carelessness of a drunk driver November 26, 2011. Since then Thad’s legacy was carried forward by the kindness, generosity and support of friends, family and community. In July 2017 the Thaddeus Lake Music Foundation was incorporated as a nonprofit organization under the Alberta Society Act (incorporation number 5020548151).

To date hundreds of lives have been touched and enhanced by the Thaddeus Lake Music Foundation.
